In order to ensure your public service announcement is advertised, WIZS has made a policy change. We will no longer accept hand written submissions. This change will ensure the on-air personalities will be able to read your announcement.

 

If your organization has an upcoming event, you may now submit your information on the form below, we ask that your submission be email at least 2 weeks prior to the event in order to serve you better.  WIZS will be happy to post your event below and announce it on air.

15th from 7am until 4pm at the John T. Church Classroom at

The Spring Street Missionary Baptist Church Pastor’s Support

ministry will be sponsoring an appreciation service for its pastor

Rev. Robert V. Gabriel on Sunday March 14th at 4pm. For

Child Passenger Safety Car Seat Clinic at Wal Mart on N. Cooper

Dr. Tuesday March 16th from 1pm to 5pm.

Southern Vance High School is holding “Future Raider Parent

Night” on Thursday, March 11th at 6:30pm. It will be held in

the SVHS Drama Room.

All Kerr Lake State Recreation Area campgrounds in NC are recruiting

for Volunteer Campground Hosts. Campground host positions are

limited to a 30-day max stay at Kerr Lake in one calendar year.

Ideal campground hosts are retired, or able to spend the majority

of their 30 days in the park, at their designated site/area. Hosts

are required to be exemplary campers by following all park rules

and regulations. Hosts are required to be on site for weekends and

holidays, and available for occasional late-night response for camper

assistance. All hosts must own an RV or camper and all positions are

on a volunteer basis. Hosts provide general information to campers,

hospitality, facility upkeep, and security to the visitors. All interested

parties can apply by contacting Kerr Lake State Recreation Area park

office at 6254 Satterwhite Point Rd, Henderson or call 252-438-7791

Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.

The Angel Food Ministries program is now available through

Spring Street Missionary Baptist Church in Henderson. A new

menu is available each month, choose what you would like and

place your order by the deadline. Pay when you order. The following

Saturday, go to the church “Fellowship Hall” to pick up your order.

Cotton Memorial Presbyterian Church invites you to Breakfast

and Sunday School. Breakfast starts at 8:45am-9:30. Sunday

school is from 9:30am-10:30 with Sunday service starting

Animal Ark Shelter in Warrenton has lost some of its staff for a

while and are in need of folks to adopt the many puppies and older

dogs and a few adult cats who are so sweet.

the Dept. of Social Services. Children who have been removed

from their homes because of abuse or neglect. They each need

a caring adult to look out for their best interests while their case
