Gardening on Saturday, May 18th from 9am until noon at

Jonathan Abbott will be in concert Sunday May 19th at 6pm at

Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Currently singing and

recording with the Gaither Group and has received many awards.

A Free Stroke Risk Screening will be held on Tuesday May 21st

from 7:30am-10:30am in the John T. Church Classroom at

Maria Parham Medical Center. The screening will include blood

Relay for Life will be held June 14th and 15th this 2013. All

survivors are asked to fill out a Survivor form for Tshirts

and a spot at the annual Survivor Dinner. Forms are available

at the Oncology Dept. at Maria Parham and Nationwide Insurance

both located on Ruin Creek Rd. Luminaries are being sold in honor

or memory of a loved one. Can pick up Luminary forms from the same

The 5th Family Reunion Celebration for Former Lenox Employees

The Townsville Fire Department is holding its 1st Annual Car, Truck,

and Bike Show on Saturday, July 6th from 8am-5pm. The Townsville

FD is located at 12729 NC Hwy 39 in Henderson. Registration is

a movement to rid the county of roadside trash. We are asking

community groups to participate by adopting a section of

highway near your place of business or activity site. For
