The Vance County Senior Center strives to enhance the quality of life
for the aging population of our county. We will promote the physical,
intellectual, emotional, social and economic well-being of our seniors
through advocacy, recreation, nutrition, information and education.
We pledge to enrich as many lives as we can by supporting independence
and vitality for the seniors of Vance County.
The Senior Center serves all seniors over the age of 55. State of
the art fitness center, computer lab, media room, activies, hobbies
and socialization can be found here.
Programs such as In-Home Aide targeted toward seniors who
need help at home with simple things such as dressing and bathing
can be organized through the Senior Center. Also, Home Delivered
Meals can help seniors remain safely in their homes and get the
nutrition they need.
